Chick Tikka Legs (2nd PRIZE)

INGREDIENTS

  • 12-15 pieces of chicken legs
  • 1 tub natural yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • ½ tablespoon coriander powder
  • Garam masala powder
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • Tin foil
  • ½ packet of tandoori masala (small packet)
  • Tub of mint sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 2 limes
  • 2 tablespoons butter/margarine

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash chicken legs well under cold or luke warm water.
  2. When dry add all above ingredients into a bowl, except butter.
  3. Add the chicken legs, mix well and let marinate for 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  4. Get 4 trays, lay out chicken legs not touching (don't forget to grease the trays before)
  5. Put into pre-heated oven covered with tin foil.
  6. Cook for 1 hour and then drain excess water out and cover with desolved butter over them.
  7. Put back into oven to cook for a further 1 hour or until cooked.

Serve with fresh limes.
