Easy Oven Chips (2nd PRIZE)

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Large potato per person
  • Cooking Oil (prefer olive oil)
  • 1 Medium/large food bag

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Firstly,preheat your oven to around 180 degrees
  2. I leave the skins on my potatoes but they can be peeled if you wish
  3. Slice the potatoes as though you were making normal chips but make them a bit chunkier
  4. To make it easier and safer to slice the potatoes, slice the ends off, and then turn the potato onto this end before slicing any further to prevent it from moving and sliding around the work surface.
  5. Place the chips into the food bag. Add a few tsp's of oil, seal the food bag and shake the bag to coat the chips with the oil.
  6. Empty the chips from the bag onto a baking tray and cook in the oven for about 25 mins or until golden, turning occasionally so they are cooked evenly.
