Weetabix Cake (1st PRIZE)

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 weetabix
  • 8oz self raising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 6oz dried fruit
  • 6oz brown sugar
  • ½ pint of milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place all dry ingredients in a bowl
  2. Add egg and milk and mix
  3. Pour into a greased and flowered loaf tin and bake for 90 minutes at 150C
  4. (If the centre of the cake is still not cooked, return to the oven for a further 15-30 minutes until a skewer remains dry when inserted into the middle)
